My blade kit does not include a disposal method. So I bought this little plastic box. Nice easy way to drop the blade and not worry about it anymore. I keep mine in a drawer and don't want anything to fall out when the box is moved. I tap the box lightly on the counter and after inserting the blade, shake it so the blade is under the slot. (When the blade is wet it sometimes sticks to the groove wall a bit.) For those wondering about the capacity: it took about 100 blades before the shaking started spitting the blade partially out of the groove - not every time , but often enough. Other blades fit but they are still in the box but I don't want them sticking out so I just ordered a new box. Very happy with this product.
