This is a really well built tank but great for a beginner - the airflow is too strong for my beta and throws it all around the tank. I had to turn off the airflow almost completely to keep it from blowing up the sides of the tank. Second, the plants are cheaply glued into the base and the glue doesn't work effectively because in less than a week they detached from the base and floated to the top. I have to take everything out, let it dry and then reattach it with a better glue. Overall, this isn't a bad tank, but it can be tweaked a bit to make it better.
