I bought a black Fairwin line from Revain two years ago and am very happy with it. It holds up very well and is very comfortable. He has a difference to this leash. It has two metal rivets, one of which secures the loop of the handle and the other is the skin that attaches to the dog's collar. These are stress points and this is where the lines break. The description of this leash said it had a rivet under the handle. The photo in the illustration shows a person walking their dog on this leash with studs in these two places. That's what I thought I'd get. I use this leash on an active and impulsive young dog of an active breed who pushes the leash to the limit. Although leather is thick, comfortable, and of high quality, it doesn't last long without the right processing. I am not happy.
