I've just started using my Parrot teleprompter, so some of my problems might go away after getting to know it. On the plus side, it's easy to assemble, with well-written instructions. It works exactly as described. As a nice bonus, the description says it works with cameras with a >49mm filter diameter, but there was also a 37mm adapter that might be useful for an older camcorder. On the other hand, the remote control is unusable. It connected seamlessly to my iPhone via Bluetooth but never worked properly. For example, when you click the "Play" button (which is supposed to activate the script you're running), it didn't play the script, it played my iTunes library. This happened repeatedly until I gave up trying to solve the problem. Unfortunately, without remote access, I had to rely on the phone app, which is easy and cumbersome to use in conjunction with the tape recording. Ultimately it works. i will use it And if I can get the remote to work properly I'd say it's a great buy. For now I call it "good" and hope to fix problems.
