Review on Thetford Aria Toilet Mechanism Assembly 19613 by Anthony Hales

It works while the interior

Update 10 August 2021 - Yes 1 year ago ---- the toilet mechanism fails again. This will be the fourth mechanism I have purchased and installed. You're right, I'm not smart, I should have thrown that toilet away a long time ago. The only reasons I'm keeping it, and not necessarily in order of priority, are that I don't bother with ball valves, I want a low profile, and last but not least, my love of my life loves this toilet! As already mentioned, the lead screw fails again. We work full time (15 years) and this part doesn't fit into everyday life. I do not recommend it! That's my problem, I wanted to make a stainless steel lead screw but didn't, I hope to do it on this trip. Update: 08/10/2020 Purchased and installed at the end of January. 3 days ago I saw the same symptoms as the device that was replaced, i.e. the blade gets stuck and you have to open the lid manually to get everything (hardware) back in sync. It's been a little over 5 months since the install, I'm playing around a bit. I've done a lot of research on this and in fact the plastic screw and nut that open and close the valve wears out, which allows the valve to overstretch on the screw. I look for a metal replacement or throw away the whole toilet. This is the second unit I have installed in 13 years of owning this van. It seems like this block needs to be replaced every few years. But if you want an electric flush with a flat blade, it works great. Sure it's an overpriced item, but Revain had the best price I could find.
