Thetford Aria Toilet Mechanism Assembly 19613 Review

For 2 or maybe 3 years our toilet (Aria II high seat) has been closing with a click, click, click. The end of the lead screw is worn. / Broken. Toilet pulled out and replaced, no more noise. Comes complete with all the gaskets and bolts you need to replace this unit including a new base gasket - good! Details on Thetford website) The instructions were pretty well written too.

This Thetford kit is perfect for repairing a failed engine and a bad gasket. Removal and replacement took about 30 minutes. I just followed the instructions and got lucky as I only had to replace the motor assembly. My toilet didn't leak, which made the job easier. I bought silicone grease for plumbing and put a lot of it on the new gasket. Helps maintain its quality and durability. Makes the motor work less and makes operation much quieter. Excellent quality at a reasonable price.

This little mechanism is essential if you have a Thetford Aria toilet. Necessary means that your toilet leaks under the seal at the back when flushing or makes a grinding noise. I had all 3 cases and this little lubricating mechanism was easy to install. This gear pack includes everything you need for a hassle-free experience. Update 10 August 2021 - Yes 1 year ago ---- the toilet mechanism fails again. This will be the fourth mechanism I have purchased and installed. You're right, I'm not smart, I should have thrown that toilet away a long time ago. The only reasons I'm keeping it, and not necessarily in order of priority, are that I don't bother with ball valves, I want a low profile, and last but not least, my love of my life loves this toilet!
