Review on AlveyTech Muffler For 150Cc Go Karts by Troy Larson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Looks decent, poor quality materials and welds.

I mounted this exhaust on my ASW Carbide 150, bolted well, fits very well. It's much quieter than the open pipe I had before and has been great for about a week, today while washing my stroller I happened to notice what looked like a crack in the pipe, I got closer and indeed the pipe elbow, Exactly where the additional brackets are welded on, it already broke about halfway. Now I have to re-seal it, which is a shame for the price. From a distance it's a nice looking unit but as you get closer you'll notice the welds are maybe 2 out of 10, they almost look like they were welded by someone with little experience. I overlooked the crappy welds because this is an off-road buggy, after all, but after one crack I can't say I would recommend this exhaust to anyone looking for something durable. Spend a few bucks more and invest in a higher quality whistle, don't repeat my mistake.

Pros
  • Although our muffler is made by Kandi for 150cc series, our 150cc kart muffler can be used on many 150cc kart made in China.
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
