Review on πŸ“· High Definition CCD Sensor Vehicle Rear View Camera: Wide Angle Night Vision IP68 Reverse License Plate Backup Camera for Toyota Prado/Subaru Outback/Subaru Impreza WRX/Subaru Forester Tribeca SG MK2 SH MK3 by Rob Dixon

The picture is ok, the picture is misaligned due to the eccentric installation in the vehicle.

The camera can easily be mounted in the reversing light well. A couple of issues I had: The two license plate LEDs are separate wires, so they need to be wired together. Not a big problem, but it would be nice to be able to handle just one track. The video cable is a tiny wire, maybe 30 gauge? In any case, it's not that easy to splice or connect to more normal 20 gauge cable. The biggest problem I had was the bulky RCA video jacks. It was very difficult to thread through the flexible wire gaiter between my Forester's sunroof and the body of the car. For this reason, if I had to do it again, I'd try to find something with a much smaller connector. The connections themselves were of borderline quality, as they didn't quite want to dock. If you overcome these problems, the camera works quite well with a slight delay when shifting into reverse. My Pioneer main unit had no lag as it immediately went to the backup screen but was blank for a few seconds.
