The radio has an impressive build quality. The options of this radio are extensive. I like MP3 playback. The recording function is great! You can record the FM tape in stereo! Yes, this feature can be indispensable in an emergency. Contacts, lists, etc. Love the idea of reading short stories to kids.* Set up is easy, you can set with the knob, search with the buttons, enter the station directly and use the M- and M+ buttons to navigate through the presets. Features I would like or could improve: * Ability to record line-in port. * AM band is ok but many stations have high pitched tone. Particularly distant stations at night.* Longer VHF antenna for even better reception!* Another display, perhaps an LCD display, which is easy to read with the lights off.* Active clock when the device is switched off.
