This is a really great phone stand, great design! The product has 3 arms that extend and retract by turning the knob at the base of the gooseneck. This ensures a nice fit that prevents your phone from shifting due to road vibrations, curves, etc. as long as the holder fits your car's cup holder. The 3 locking arms have a rubber layer where they make contact with your car's cup holder. It also includes 3 elongated caps to snap onto the retractable levers if needed, but due to the small diameter of the cup holder in my car I couldn't use them (and they're not really needed). The gooseneck feels pleasantly firm and is easily adjustable in many positions. It also gets my phone (Motorola G Power) up to a very good height. I can also leave my phone in a protective case. You can also position your phone vertically or horizontally.
