I'm a beauty snob and used SK** Pitera essence when I was in my early 20's. I loved how the fermented rice in the product worked so well for my skin, but obviously I didn't like the price. Too expensive! After drinking the whole bottle I felt like it worked but I really wanted a better option in terms of ingredients and the price was just crazy. Also, thinking that some of their ingredients would not work well with my sensitive skin with long-term use, I stopped using SK**. Yes, I'm the mad lady who goes through the entire ingredient list to make sure I know what I'm putting on my skin. When HaruHaru released this Black Rice line, I was hooked! Although it looks like a toner, SK** made from fermented rice, I find Haruharu's ingredients much healthier and obviously the price can't be beat! Also the smell, I really couldn't stand the weird smell of SK** but the haruharu miracle toner carries a light scent of wonderful natural lavender just like their black rice oil. It's subtle and not overly overwhelming, just enough to make me feel spoiled and relaxed. It's not a crazy, dizzying strong scent that looks like fake lavender. This is my third purchase in a month, I want to gift my dear friends because it's so good! I bought the other two in Korea and thanks Revain for wearing them now! The bottle is huge with a lot of product, I use it as a toner, essence, and sometimes I put a lot of toner on cotton pads and leave it on. Use as a soothing face mask for 5-10 minutes when my skin needs a mini spa. From the product to the packaging, this toner is a very luxurious treat for my skin and a much better option than SK**. Who wouldn't be delighted with a product this well made at a reasonable price?!
