More effort to install than the factory supplied filters

I installed the filter in our GE fridge. It was harder to get it on the filter housing than the factory GE filter. A lot more difficult. This is the only reason I did not give it a better rating. It did not leak a drop Not sure of how long it will last yet. But so far it is working fine. Six months or 300 gallons is the rating or usage span.
