Great product and top quality at a fraction of the cost

If you were told similar product from a non original manufacturer weren't as good I would say you have been lied to.at least in this case. Great product and top quality at a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend this product.

Despite assurances from seller did not fit--but customer service is excellent

Despite assurances from seller, this could not be installed on our ge gne25jskffss. It looks very similar to the stock filter but small differences made it impossible to install. Customer service was excellent, however--going well beyond refunding the purchase price. I expect they will fix the problem. When they do, I'll revisit this review.

Great Replacement Filter

These water filters work great in my GE refrigerator. Good strong water flow and are a lot less expensive than the GE filters.

Great product at an awesome price

Great product at an awesome price. Used it in my GE refrigerator and it works great. The customer service has been awesome as well. Company checks to see if you enjoy the product and offers assistance if anything is wrong.

Flush at least two gallons before drinking.

Installed my first filter and my fridge water works like a charm.Remember - when first installing a filter, TURN OFF YOUR ICE MAKER and flush a MINIMUM of two gallons of water before drinking, then turn the ice maker back on. That was the one thing I noticed - the filter has a lot of carbon activant residue that needs to be flushed. I flushed about 5 gallons before attempting to drink the water. But it tastes great!

More effort to install than the factory supplied filters

I installed the filter in our GE fridge. It was harder to get it on the filter housing than the factory GE filter. A lot more difficult. This is the only reason I did not give it a better rating. It did not leak a drop Not sure of how long it will last yet. But so far it is working fine. Six months or 300 gallons is the rating or usage span.

No need for more expensive versions

No need for the expensive GE filters when these do the job. We had no problems with fitting into our GE WMF fridge freezer. We did as instructed and ran the water filter for 6-8mins and water tastes great

Clean Water on my review.

So far, so good - I installed the first one last month and the water tastes clean and looks clear. I am sure how long it will last at this point, but I have had no problems previously with aftermarket brands of water filters.

Not a replacement for GE MWF

Bought a 4 pack, tried two and neither worked. All documentation on revain and packaging claims that it is a direct replacement for GE MWF. I've had the refrigerator for 5 years and replaced the filter nearly a dozen times using non-GE filters. This one does not work.
