I bought this dress with the intention of cosplaying Belle at Disney's Be Our Guest restaurant around Valentines Day.There was another review on here with a picture where the girl sewed tucks into the dress and put a petticoat under it. Initially I thought I would just wear the dress as is. Unfortunately, the dress wasn't very flattering as is - even with the petticoat added (sorry I neglected to take a picture of that.)I'm not as handy at sewing as the other reviewer so I took it to a tailor with the picture from her review. As you can see it worked out pretty well sewing 10 tucks into the skirt and putting a yellow petticoat under it.I also glued down the neckline because it does have a tendency to pop up when you move your arms - but a bit of fabric glue fixed that.You can also see that my bra straps would occasionally show due to the wideness of the collar - I should have pinned them underneath.I would have liked to pull the waist in more for a more flattering hip.But, for the price it was unbeatable and a tailor isn't as expensive as you might think. If I bought a Belle cosplay gown it would have cost hundreds of dollars and been a little over the top even for me. This was perfect.Side note: you aren't actually supposed to dress up as princesses at Disney and I didn't find that out until the day before we went. So I wore a different outfit during the day, changed into this before dinner, and wore a sweater over it until it was time to meet the beast.
