Handles tangles well but I don't think it's any different from other regular combs. If it was, say, $5 more than a regular brush I could find elsewhere, I would have no incentive to spend the extra $5. The one I received is a real wet brush (not fake/fake) as some reviews say. Maybe they fixed the problem, or maybe the previous problem was that they just mixed up two different brands. I give 5 stars because the shipping was very fast and the comb itself was packaged perfectly, not crushed and looked like new. As I said, this wet brush version is very comparable to most other regular hairbrushes, however I did notice a legitimate difference in quality when purchasing the Pro Shine wet brush version.
