This is old school, love it! I use it all the time and it has a special place in my kitchen. It's great for canning when your recipe calls for pounds rather than cups. Ideal for weighing meat and vegetables. It is easy to read and very easy to reset. Just turn the knob! The top plate is quite big, you can put big pots, bowls or something else on it. It's all metal, so it's pretty heavy. It looks like it's built to last. I had no problems with that. I have a digital scale and have found it to be very accurate if you zero it properly. It's easy to clean, I just wipe it down with disinfectant wipes, let it dry and put it away. I store it with a dust cover to keep it clean when I'm not using it. I love it because it doesn't draw any power, no confusing buttons, I don't have to charge it, no batteries to put in, and it just does what it's designed to do. And easy. If only everything worked like that.
