Compared with the rotary machine, this is the best option for cordless, compact and light weight machine. Due to its light weight, it fits comfortably in the hand without causing cramps, as is common with rotary machines (rotary pins are bulkier and have a larger circumference). As a beginner, I found my work to be much smoother and with fewer jumps than when using a rotary machine. Although it has 3 speeds (level 1, 2 and 3), it is not as powerful as a rotary machine that can reach intensity level 9. However, depending on the service, you may not need this level of intensity (e.g. microblading/shading). The battery lasts 2-3 hours but the kit comes with a SECOND battery which is a PLUS/MANDATORY! The kit does not include ink, training skin, or storage case/bag so I intend to act accordingly. It comes with a cartridge. However, you CAN use other needle cartridges as I have used cartridges from different manufacturers that fit this machine without any problems.
