Review on 🚰 Optimized Brita 42633 Faucet Filtration System by Lindsey Jones

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Weak plastic fittings

I agree with other reviewers. I've been using them for over 10 years. Early iterations had metal adapters, and although the device itself was plastic, they seemed to hold up. The one that has been in our kitchen for about 3 years now is just starting to leak in the faucet area and sometimes if we are not gentle with it when turning the filter on and off it will fall off. Before that it started to shake. We replaced the kitchen faucet at my sister's house with the exact same one we have knowing a Brita filter would work. We bought her a filter unit. The plastic fitting didn't even survive the installation. Too bad, as another reviewer pointed out, we certainly would have paid a bit more for metal fittings as filters are a constant source of income for Brita. I won't buy any other.
