"Nimble slides " that didn't quite slide

I confess I was excited to try these shoes. The elegant design, the easy dressing function and the black and white color combination seemed to convince. However, I have to say that I was a bit disappointed after wearing it for a few days. First off, these aren't the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They're not terrible, don't get me wrong, but they're not exactly supportive and I wouldn't want to wear them for long periods of time. They also run a little small, so be sure to order half a size larger. My biggest issue with these shoes is the outsole. Yes, they're technically "hiking shoes," but when I tried to put them on for a walk in my neighborhood, I kept slipping and slipping all over the place. They didn't have very good grip on concrete, which was a shame. Overall I think this shoe has potential but needs some work. If you're looking for a quick, no-lace shoe for running errands or whatever these might be fine, but I wouldn't recommend them for serious walking or exercise. Disclosure: I received a free sample of this product in exchange for my honest review.

Pros
  • True to size, fits my son perfectly. He says they are very comfortable!
Cons
  • One of the shoes ripped after just 2 weeks of wear.
