Review on πŸ’¨ Noctua NH-L9a-AM4: Premium Low-Profile CPU Cooler for AMD AM4 (Brown) - Unmatched Cooling Performance for AM4 Processors by Andre Pendergrass

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works very well on computer components

Now I only cool an Athlon 200ge with 35w TDP but since I overclocked it to a stable 4.1 HGZ it got much hotter very quickly. The stock cooler used to be very noisy, NOW it's just stupidly quiet, honestly it's scary how quiet it can be. My temps hover around 44-50C max when gaming or something more intense is around 60C*C aka Deff Plus and it must be purchased for SFF build. Based on its performance, I believe I can fit a 65w Ryzen 5 or even a Ryzen 7 with a tiny OC and you'll be fine. AK is perfect. For example, don't buy this one and overclock a Ryzen 5 or 7 and then complain that it can't cool enough because it's small and therefore not designed for that kind of overclocking. but if you get it right, yes, you can probably get a nice, skinny, powerful body with this bad boy. Just waiting for the 3rd gen Ryzen processor to come out for an update.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
