I loved these shoes the first time I put them on. They "hugged the midfoot" and, like other reviews I've read, were so comfortable that I even wore them at home for an hour, usually walking barefoot. I've told all my friends about the Vionic and my mom bought a few as did me. Then the support system began to weaken. A string broke on the side. I called the company and they said they don't repair their shoes but there is a 6 month guarantee if you buy them from one of their retailers (which I did) so if you cut the tongue part out of each shoe and send in the receipt bill, they will give you a credit towards their US site. hope this works I have done all of the above and am waiting for a response from the company. The rope on the side eventually snapped making the shoes unusable anyway, but they're overconfident about the amount of language they need to send them.
