My boxer is a big barker, he barks at everyone and everything for a long time. As soon as I turned on this device, he turned into a completely different dog. He will stop barking or bark softly, which is not disturbing. And I know what he's hearing when I turn on the device because he tilts his head every time. Works wonders! I don't use it all the time, only when I'm trying to fall asleep at the weekend I don't want to listen to him barking from his cage for hours. I highly recommend this product.
