I bought this clamp because the standard clamps that came with my boom and table mic (LEPOWER metal table lamp, adjustable gooseneck) were not as strong as I would have liked . The build quality of this clip is solid compared to the standard clips I've received with other items. It held my table lamp perfectly and the lock slot fitted perfectly so it didn't pop out when turning. My mic arm also held tight with no sign of movement when the arm was rotated. Overall a great desk clip and I will definitely use it again.
