I'm sick of paying $17 for the smallest tube of Abreva I've ever seen to treat my herpes. I needed a different solution and I searched and searched. Then this amino acid came along and I tried it. I'm very glad I did. I take it every day. I will take 1000mg every day and if I feel cold sores coming or a big event is making me nervous I will take 2-3000mg for 3 consecutive days. It works amazing. I got herpes one after the other. Maybe one a month. It's awful and looks bad. I get maybe 3 a year, more like two, and they last very, very short. Now when I see herpes I will use L-lysine plus which along with this is a very inexpensive herpes remedy. Also, herpes has reduced so much since taking it that I can't recommend it highly enough. Oh, and don't buy the 1000mg pill, it's like a horse pill and it's awful to try to deflate. Take these two and thank me later.
