I love this cookie dough freezer. Just make sure you can see all the vertices of the blue hexagon? lines. If they're covered in meat or batter, you'll regret it. I had a metal counter scraper and a hard plastic one. Both worked well for filling and smoothing dough into holes. After freezing, I simply used a table knife to loosen a side or two of the frozen dough and it just popped out to put in a plastic freezer bag. I liked that the cookies were all the same size when baked. I will be stocking more cookie dough flavors and making meatballs as well. I am very sure that there will be some other products that will work there. Oh, they make really fancy ice cubes! Especially with fruit or vegetables. Hm. Frozen basil or parsley or oregano or sofrito cubes. Tomato paste cubes, onion cubes? Will onions or garlic smell like silicone? Now I'm curious about other uses. Is it expensive. I bought 2 for my needs. It's not flexible when you try to bend it to release a frozen item. But that means it's well built. My husband thought it was a great idea.
