I love this cookie dough freezer. Just make sure you can see all the vertices of the blue hexagon? lines. If they're covered in meat or batter, you'll regret it. I had a metal counter scraper and a hard plastic one. Both worked well for filling and smoothing dough into holes. After freezing, I simply used a table knife to loosen a side or two of the frozen dough and it just popped out to put in a plastic freezer bag.
