Works as described. just DO NOT OVERFILL. The Meatball Maker turns 2.2 pounds of meat into 32 patties. Each meatball weighs approximately 1 ounce. in weight. We made several trays, pulled them out and froze them, filled the trays and sent them in the freezer. So I'm ready for a batch of healthy homemade meatballs at this Italian home. I can't wait to try them with cookie dough. We made two versions of the meatballs, so now we have some variety. Ideal for taking out a few meatballs and cooking them in the fryer. Put on a nice long bun, put some tomato sauce and cheese back in the fryer and you have the perfect meatball patty. I am very, very happy with this item. I will get some for gifts for my friends who are addicted to cooking.
