These skates are heavy enough not to have ankle support! Because they don't have ankle support, the weight of the skates is on the shins, which gives me a lot of pain and no pleasure! I thought I could pump up my calves that I served as an active duty soldier for 21 years, but I just couldn't. It was too much and not funny at all. When I first got the skates I had to buy a tool to loosen the wheels because they didn't roll freely! That was also a problem! They are overpriced for the quality and issues. I would love to return them but I had to try them first so I rode them about 20ft and now I can't return them I don't think so. Be careful when you buy these skates for your kids.
