I needed a new projector for my home office and was incredibly surprised! My previous projector was older than I thought but good for its time so I never thought much about the image quality - I'm used to that. I was blown away by the brightness and color rendition, not to mention the sharp detail and excellent contrast of this projector! Projector owners will tell you that fan noise is what you would expect, but this one is significantly louder than I'm used to. However, it does not have a cooling period. My old projector's fan continued to run for about 2 minutes after I turned it off; this one is not! I found image adjustments easy to make and easy to achieve desired levels. My only issue is the audio as some others have mentioned. Yes, it has built-in speakers that sounded "good," but the audio cuts out every few minutes. When it comes out, it comes out for a while, not just a word or two. I have a soundbar and subwoofer in my office so I didn't need the built in speakers but if you use them you might have some issues. The padded carry case and projection screen were nice additions. I'm not using the screen but I'm already planning a summer movie party, it's VERY big and will come in handy for entertaining the guests. If you're on the fence, take the plunge on this projector; You will not regret it!
