Do not use feed pellets Zoo Med

Interesting idea but poorly designed. The turtle feeding station was not a problem. The holes in the feeder are too small for the maintenance diet (manufactured by Zoo Med.). I drilled bigger holes but that didn't help. The feeder does not float high enough. The pellets will either sink or sink into the water when the feeder is gently lowered into the water. Our turtle was curious but the pellets soaked up the water and swelled to the point where they became a mush inside the feeder. I would not recommend this product.
