. Received my 4G Dm-1 module today. Very excited to run it, installation went great. As long as you have access to the charge controller, it takes less than ten minutes to connect. Renogy's instructions are always minimal, but this time they were enough to complete the installation. Then I downloaded the app. I tried to create an account for a new 4G app and everything is shown in Chinese. I'm not sure about you, but I don't speak Chinese. My night really went downhill when I found a YouTube video about the 4G module and found out that I now need a SIM card and data plan. Nowhere in this list does it say that a SIM card is REQUIRED. I was also not thrilled with Renogy's 8-5 Mon-Fri PT customer service. I understand companies have business hours, but it's quite difficult to call tech support when you're also open Monday-Friday 7am-5pm.
