I received these gloves on July 6th this year and use them several times a day. They quickly started to fall apart and were generally disappointing, but for the sake of objectivity I wanted to list the pros and cons of these Seibertron gloves. - most likely protects hands when falling (not checked) Cons: - low-quality firmware; the seam between index finger and thumb is completely torn (see photo) - bad choice of fabric; the velcro sticks to the fluffy red fabric and quickly damages it (see photo) - the structured rubber coating of the handle detaches very easily from the synthetic leather (see photo) - the velcro is not closed from above, but under the wrist (small design flaws) - inside, the seams on the fingertips feel a bit uncomfortable - the credibility of the manufacturer is questionable; A search for "Seibertron" leads to a Transformers fan site. Bottom line: don't buy these gloves. I spent less than $20 on them but I wish I had spent that $20 on a decent pair. Be very skeptical of 80% five star reviews as these are NOT five star gloves (two stars is probably too generous but be it).
