It's hot where I live, especially in the summer, so my camelback is currently mainly used to stay hydrated while I work in the garden. My old straw wasn't long enough and I had to turn my head all the way to one side and it was uncomfortable to drink from. This straw is the perfect length and the insulation helps ensure my first drink isn't hot water. Also, the cap on the mouthpiece is perfect for protecting the mouthpiece from dust when I need to drink.
