This is a good value brush because it looks and feels good. I've found that cheap brushes start scattering my media and glue very quickly - I haven't seen that happen. I had no problem with it as it is a hard silicone. Since it looks like a regular brush, you might be surprised when you get your hands on it - it takes a little getting used to, but I've found that it can be used to smooth out bubbles. As you go - on a large sheet of paper I still use the old credit card as it's wider, but for small pieces it comes in very handy. It's not a brush - although I'm sure you could use it a bit like a palette with a knife, but I'm not an "artist" I'm unfamiliar with the techniques so I'll let someone who has Such abilities tell if and how to use them for character effects.
