Review on KEMSO Performance Electric Install Application Replacement Parts by Tim Jolivette

This is not a direct replacement for a 2012 Yamaha R1 fuel pump. The fuel filter does not match the pump assembly. A small gasket needs to be installed on the pump nozzle, but you cannot install it in a Kemso pump because the nozzle is ribbed and the OEM pump nozzle is not ribbed. Bought a separate Yamaha fuel filter so it can be in the pump. mounted and not used the small seal (from the original pump) on the Kemso pump nozzle. The pump runs and the bike starts. I haven't checked the fuel pressure yet, the other components are not required. Only the pump can be used for Yamaha R1 2012. Bought from Kemso because the pump is made in Japan and has a lifetime warranty.
