A little too narrow and very rough
Bought as a second 80 grit CBN grinding wheel. I have the other 180. The new one spins with no vibration but is a bit narrow compared to my old one. It is also very rough and wears away material very quickly. I use both Igor lathes for turning wood. Sharpening this tool throws out some fairly large chunks of metal so you have to be careful not to erase the nick...but it's very good for shaping tools. It also offers a cooler tool temperature compared to 180 grit.
