Ordered this sweater for my 12 year old son. He is 4ft 6" and weighs 92lbs and I ordered a size 12. The sweater fits perfectly around the wrists and only hangs down to the top of the pants pockets (about 2 inches below the pants button at the waist). He is very happy, I am having trouble getting him to take it off so I can wash it! I would advise NOT putting it in the dryer for a very long time, maybe a few minutes, and then hanging it up to dry. I have a very small amount of lint but that's definitely because he wears it all the time so it's been through many washes and is completely dry rather than hanging. I haven't seen any damage to the stitching or color fading. I also recommend initially washing in cold water with 2 tablespoons of table salt to set the colour, although it did not run at all. The painting is beautiful, the product is well made and very soft on the inside. My son loves it and all his friends want it now! buy again.
