I recently purchased a set of Black Bear Boys Active Shorts for my 12 year old son and overall I am very happy with my purchase. The set consists of four items: two short-sleeved t-shirts and two sports shorts. The black and red color combination looks great on my son and he says the materials are comfortable to wear while exercising. The Dry-Fit material provides good ventilation and moisture wicking to keep my son cool during intense sports. These shorts are also light enough for outdoor activities like playing in the park or cycling with friends. The shorts have an adjustable waistband which is perfect for my skinny son. He wore the set on a warm day and told me he didn't experience any discomfort or wetness. The only downside was that the shorts were a bit shorter than we expected. Although my son is of average height for his age, when he wears shorts they seem to come down past his knee. It's not a big deal, but it can be a problem for parents with sons who are on the higher end of the spectrum. All in all, the Black Bear Boys Active Shorts Set is a worthwhile purchase for parents who want their kids to be comfortable on the go. It's great value for money and I'm sure it will last a long time. Therefore I give 4 out of 5 stars. However, if your child prefers shorts below the knee, this may not be suitable.
