This slicer works great. The benefit of using it instead of a regular kitchen knife is that it cuts both the yellow and white parts to the same size. The wires are sharp enough to cut through boiled eggs without crushing them. It is easy to clean and looks strong and durable. The plastic loop feels comfortable. It holds the handles together and makes storage easier. My wife often makes egg rolls for breakfast. She says it saves time. Now she just smiles when I remind her that at first she thought I'd "wasted my money again" on a fancy new tool!
