I was hesitant to buy another OtterBox case after the last two I bought for my previous iPad were of poor quality. The Gen 1 OtterBox was a great match for the original iPad. But with the iPad Air 2, it was terrible. I bought two and neither lasted. I was hesitant to buy another one for this iPad, worried that once OtterBox got big, it would start making cheap, low-quality products. But so far I'm happy with this case. It's like OtterBox got enough feedback and is making better products again. I love this case as it is strong, durable and protects my expensive iPad. It even has a great "slot" for my Apple Pencil. Fantastic feature! I've only had this case for a few months. It's still not as durable as the original iPad case I still have, but it's much better than the case for the iPad Air 2. Time will tell, but I like it so far.
