I am part of a support group for people called 'yellow canaries'. The new generation of chemicals on the ingredient list of consumer product "flavors” is like pure poison to us. We can't even walk through places like the public laundry without a full Tyvek suit, including a full face mask. We are always looking for products/methods to remove chemicals from clothing. Even sitting in a chair previously used by someone wearing clothes washed with perfumed detergent can stain our clothes and make us nauseous. I bought the Zorbx with hope but braced myself for disappointment. I'm happy to report that Zorbx does indeed remove most odors. I've taken the Zorbx to the extreme - an unusual ordeal, perhaps by using a public sauna to detox from toxic overload. Unfortunately, the sauna is public and used by "fragrant" women who use body scents and/or wear popular synthetic oil-based fitness clothing and rubber athletic shoes that release VOCs in the heat. I prepared a 50/50 solution of Zorbx and water in a spray bottle, and when the fragrant sauna-goers were free, I sprayed the mist onto the wooden benches they were sitting on until the surface was slightly damp - allowing for the sauna to dry the sprayed surfaces. Zorbx has worked with most flavors/VOCs but not all. There are some laundry detergents and some body fragrances that no "odor eliminator" can easily break down and eliminate. But to date, Zorbx is the most successful product I've used to remove aromatic chemicals that permeate porous materials. I am grateful for that. This enabled me to make even better use of my time at the fitness center. Before Zorbx, there was a lot more "lost" time from not being able to use the sauna due to toxicity from aromatic chemicals (many oil-based) left behind and embedded in the wood. Now I can spray the tree and have the Zorbx repel the poison. In clothes - I soaked a blouse, in the fibers of which there was a very persistent chemical aroma. I tried soaking it in pure ammonia - for 1 week, then rinse, then soak in detergent/baking soda, then soak in vinegar - and still the blouse was toxic. Then I found Zorbx on Revine - I bought it - soaked the blouse in clean Zorbx for 12 hours - hung to dry. It worked. Now the blouse no longer smells. For normal people - Zorbx for 5 stars with a plus. For yellow canaries - Zorbx has 4 stars - only because of the wide variety of chemicals used to create synthetic toxic flavors in almost every product.
