Review on πŸ”§ 14PCS PHYLES Auto Trim Removal Tool Kit - Door Panel/Interior Trim/Dash Center Console Installation and Remover by Pablo Rudon

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Sufficiently strong, sturdy, durable, but may also contain a few thinner tools

I use this on my 2005 Subaru Outback which due to its age I have to be careful not to rip the plastic or rip the vinyl. I have used this tool kit to remove the console from the dash, the vinyl of which is very soft and easily damaged despite my annual ArmorAll-ed pass, and to remove various panels from the center console. The tools are large, sturdy and come in a variety of sizes. My first impression is that it works quite well, especially for the harder plastic panels, but all the tools are a bit thick for easy work in the seams and cracks between the panels. It feels like the kit was meant for bigger American cars and not something like Subaru. There are also many tools that really seem similar or the same. However, the tools work and allow me to pull panels out without damage, so maybe it's just a matter of expectations. I can always grind some tools to make them easier to work with, but I'd rather have such a tool. So I think it's perfectly usable. I wouldn't steer people towards or away from it.
