I've had Logitech computer speakers in the past that have made an impression; these are not very good. Subwoofer is SMALL! Think of a small toaster size. The satellite speakers sound decent at higher volumes, which is great when you're filling a room with sound, but too loud when you're at a computer. At lower volumes (within reasonable limits) the high frequencies are muffled, as if the speakers were in a closed box. Deal with it - to get GOOD sounding computer speakers you'll have to shell out about $100. Anything else would be a compromise. These speakers are great if you're on a budget.
