My oil filler neck on my 2015 Silverado V6 is flush with the valve cover. This makes it quite inconvenient to hold the funnel while filling the crankcase with oil, especially when using a 5 gallon jug. Reviews. The funnel works as advertised. My car needed a black adapter that would fit snugly into my truck's oil filler hole without leaking. Using a corner connector, the funnel stood securely upright, freeing both hands to hold and pour a 5 gallon jug of oil while I filled the crankcase. a bit overpriced. Everything is plastic. While the adapter caps appear to be well made from a good strong polymer, the plastic used for the funnel appears to be thinner than most regular oil funnels. Only time will tell how well it holds up.
