Highly recommended. I bought it after a problem with a new Western Digital drive that I had to return immediately (WD My Book Pro Professional RAID Storage 16TB - Thunderbolt USB 3.0 - WDBDTB0160JSL-NESN). This G-RAID drive is very quiet and quite fast even when used through a USB 3.0 hub and without using Thunderbolt. Even under very heavy loads I had no problems with it. I configured it as a JBOD which works best for my needs. I edit very large TIFF files directly from this disc and have no complaints.
