Neat little sponges that get the job done

These sponges are great value for money but not as high quality as the ones you spend more money on. Still, they're just as effective at cleansing and exfoliating as the ones you spend twice as much on. I noticed a difference in texture between this one and the one I paid a little more for ($10 for one). They felt less like a plant-based natural sponge than others, but didn't feel as slimy, which is a plus for me. They also seem to have slightly less porosity but lather quite well. I've included a picture so you can see the difference in porosity between this one (made with green tea) and the more expensive one. I can't support claims about sponges infused with green tea (protective) or charcoal (oil absorbing) as it seems that after the first use, as soon as you rinse them, you flush away any additives they have soaked in with. But in case there are any additives left after rinsing, I just use a plain white konjac sponge to apply my face soap. Others I use when my skin is too dry for soap but still needs washing and I can say they leave my skin very soft and clean even without soap. I rarely use charcoal as I've recently moved to a very dry climate and don't want to dry out my skin anymore, but green tea leaves a nice clean feeling. Overall, these are great exfoliating sponges and a great choice for those just discovering cognac sponges so you can figure out which ones work best for your skin. There's no need to spend a lot of money on a single sponge if you're not already sure which one is best for you. Therefore, a three-pack is the cheaper and smarter product choice.
