I saw other reviews mentioning problems with the straps, but the overall rating was still 4 stars, so I took a shot. First of all, and perhaps not all that important since it goes outside, the material had a nasty "fishy" smell when I got it out of the package. The cover itself seemed pretty decent in terms of not feeling flimsy, and it fit over my air conditioner. HOWEVER, the straps were at least 4 inches too short to go around the unit and then clip together to secure it. I had to use bungee

Not only did I receive the wrong size, the straps aren’t even long enough to go around the whole unit. So very poorly designed. Clearly no quality control in it’s manufacturing. Find another. This one will just cost you time and effort in returning it for a refund.

the width and height are perfect fit but the depth is too big. I had to push all the way to stay put and tied up tight. My AC box depth is 6 inches, this one is way too big.

Strong material. Blocks the cold from coming into the air conditioner and my house. The straps are not adjustable though.

So as the title says it literally looks like we are shoving a suitcase through our window. that said I was amazed at how much cold air was coming into the room. completely unaware until I put this on. given that we also purchased the inside window AC quilted cover. very happy with results and results MATTER darn it! nothing to be done about the suitcase though I mean it is a window unit to begin with. on an addition that has poor AC without it. one star off for the looks, which may be unfair…

Straps holding cover on a/c unit are too long and do not shorten to proper length. Seems like a moronic manufacturer since this is a simple product that didn’t even consider the proper length of a strap when there’s two pieces to the product. Straps and cover. wow

I can only give 1 star because unfortunately, the first and smallest was too small and the second, next size up, was too big for my unit which is an average size small window air unit. The cover is very deep as well which most units I've had of this size don't even have a third of the depth.

Cover fits perfectly for ac unit but Had to buy buckle extensions. Straps included did not make it around the unit as designed

Covered the unit as expected. The cover was a little bigger than my unit, but has straps to tighten it. Has gone through a few storms in the fall with no issues.

Was a little big for my AC's but i was able to adjust with the straps. Overall a good cover for the price. Thanks for attention!

First, the dimensions could be a little larger: at least 28 x 20 x 24. Plus cover is of excellent quality but the bottom of the cover should be open to allow for support brackets underneath the AC.

Ordered the largest size and, as others have said, the attached straps are shorter than the cover dimensions. They don’t reach far enough around to secure, even when extended fully. Must be defective in this size only.

I put a cover over the inside and over the outside. WOW! I should’ve done this years ago! It’s so much warmer in my house now! And it helps with the energy bill too! So very easy to install, and we’ll worth getting them!

Good product. Unfortunately the buckle straps are not large enough and I needed to improvise with some bungee cords. My AC is on a support so I had to cut the bottom.

The straps don't fit into the buckles under the air conditioner easily although the cover fits well. Also, no storage bag was provided but no sure if supposed to. Image shows brackets exposed with cover in place.can't do unless you tear the material.I can't judge the warmth as just recently installed. Material seems better than convention covers.

Very good quality, should last for years. Easy to put on and the straps to snug it up are nice and easy to use. ADJUSTABLE STRAPS!

If you get the largest size, be prepared. I should have read the reviews better, but jumped in, as I see someone else had to rig it up. The straps for the largest size aren't big enough to reach all the way around. You have to be kidding me. Where has common sense gone?! I had to run zip ties between the 2 ends to make up for the 8-9 inches that it couldn't reach. What a joke. Not even worth returning and wasting even more of my time.

As many have said (at least on the Large), straps ARE NOT LONG ENOUGH! Don't order it thinking yours will be different, it won't be. I was able to add extra straps to the attached to make it work. Otherwise, a decent product.

It fits the AC sleeve well (actually with plenty of extra room), but the straps aren't long enough to wrap around all the way. The straps fully extended are about 3 inches too short, which is frustrating. Seems like the straps should be long enough to wrap around whatever size it fits.

The straps that come connected do not fit around the AC unit. Seriously, how do you install straps that don't fit around the dimensions you advertise. Someone needs to go back to school and take some basic math classes. I should have read the reviews.
