I saw other reviews mentioning problems with the straps, but the overall rating was still 4 stars, so I took a shot. First of all, and perhaps not all that important since it goes outside, the material had a nasty "fishy" smell when I got it out of the package. The cover itself seemed pretty decent in terms of not feeling flimsy, and it fit over my air conditioner. HOWEVER, the straps were at least 4 inches too short to go around the unit and then clip together to secure it. I had to use bungee cords to hold it on, but the plastic clips don't look all that heavy-duty, so I'm not sure how long that will last. It's not worth returning and trying to find another one that actually works, so I'll see whether or not it can stand up to the abuse. In previous years, the A/C was uncovered anyway, so I guess if it doesn't stay on I'm no worse off than I was before, with the exception of a little cash. I'd recommend you keep looking, though!
