Extremely cheap production. The first indication that I was dealing with a less than outstanding product was punching a hole in a wooden tray when trying to open the packaging. The product in another matter is unnecessarily wrapped in plastic shrink wrap. I really wish everything wasn't wrapped in plastic, especially on occasions like this where it's not needed, but that's a whole other matter for another day. But while trying to peel off the plastic wrap, I stuck my finger through the plastic and didn't heat the tray too hot, but apparently hot enough to leave a mark on the *wooden* storage shelf. It's either not really wood or a cheap by-product of wood. As it's just a holder it didn't bother me at first but after the stones had cooled some of the trays appear to have actually frozen to the stones and lifted off as use of the stones sometimes created floating matter in my drink stay behind as shown in the picture. I have checked the bottle to make sure the floats are not coming from the source, but the bottle is clean and perfectly clear with no visible particles. The cooling effect of these stones is insignificant even after a whole night of frost. You get what you pay for I guess. They look beautiful and the stones themselves are nice to the touch but I am very dissatisfied with their work and the extremely poor quality of the tray. I'll probably throw it away and get a bag to store instead. Even though the instructions advise you to use 2 bricks, I would try using 4 instead.
