I will probably order more. SERVICE You will receive 100 12" x 12" squares of brown recycled paper, which are folded in half to make 100 6" x 6" square filters. You separate the 3rd and 4th layers of the folded square to form a funnel and place it on your Chemex - it fits all sizes. Then you pour in the coffee and top up the water. I was a little skeptical about the Chemex method, but it works well in that you don't mind spending a few minutes brewing coffee. These specialty filters should be preferred over non-Chemex brands as manufacturers claim they are "oxygen cleaned" and contain special absorbent fibers to improve quality. at least partially true. I received my Chemex coffee maker a few days before the filters arrived and have used them with cheaper, more versatile filters. Coffee made with Chemex filters tastes less bitter. However, I cannot say that ALL the bitterness is gone. It's not, but like I said, I'll probably order them again. Overall, I like these filters because they are large enough to make a potentially messy Chemex coffee brewing process clean overall. I also think I've found "less bitterness" (but definitely NOT zero bitterness) when brewing coffee with these filters, but that may be my subjective assessment. 4 stars (love it) seems like a fair rating for this product.
